In 2023, Braun Enterprises purchased properties in ESH including the building occupied by Clutch Distilling and Direct Auto Services (as well as the vacant property in between), the building formerly occupied by La Coqueta as well as the vacant lot across the street (1202-1206 Adele St).



La Coqueta closed its doors in Summer 2023 and moved locations to 708 E. Tidwell Rd under a new name of Marcone’s.


Braun Enterprises is slated to convert the vacant lot on 1202-1206 into a parking lot, to support new establishments across the street.

A new bar from Double Trouble (bar/coffee shop in Midtown) will occupy the space that was formerly La Coqueta. It will be named Berwick’s Bird of Paradise.

Property at 2,200-10,600 square feet is available for lease. It’s unclear whether Clutch Distilling and the tire shop are likely to stay or leave (but let us know if you find out!)
